This card holder can easily take five cards, in the main section, that can then be displayed, and easily reached, with a slide of a button. On one side of the item is a spring clip that could be used to hold it at the top of a pocket (or even as a belt clip, but I'm not sure I would trust myself not to lose it). On the other side there is a metal plate which is held in place with elastic. This provides an extremely tight pocket which could be stretched out to hold many more cards. At the bottom of this plate is a small gap which would enable all the cards to be pushed out with your thumb and then fanned out against the elastic bracing. A very sturdy item. I'm very pleased with it.

It wants to call itself a minimalist wallet but it misses on the biggest point, being too big. Size wise, it is quite larger than my minimalist wallet that I already use. I was looking forward to this one, with the included slider option but I cannot get by the fact, that it is too big. Yes, smaller than your typical leather folding wallets, but much larger than my real minimalist wallet, that holds the same amount of cards, money, etc than this model.
As seen in the pictures, this wallet is quite larger and taller and does not have multiple money option apart from the clip in the back whereas my existing wallet has a clip and a wrap. The construction also feels a bit on the cheaper side. Yes, metal facings but plastic sides and slider seems a bit flimsy.
Maybe coming from a larger wallet, would make this choice an OK option, but at this time, this is not an improvement on my current situation.

The card holder comes in a nice presentation box with a simple to follow, concise set of instructions. It is black and looks good, its small size makes wearing it easy and comfortable. The sprung belt clip is strong so will not fall off easily. It will also easily fit into the inside pocket of your coat as it's so small.

The cardholder's aluminium body provides good RFID protection for your cards. According to the manual, the internal slot has a capacity to hold up to six cards (I've tried seven, but this stops the holder from working properly) and the front quick access slot five cards.

The slide button ejection system for the internal slot displays the cards so that you can see clearly what each individual one is. It feels strong and gives you the confidence that it will last a long time. As an added bonus, you also get a one-year warranty. Definitely a handy little gadget to keep all your cards together without the bulkiness of a wallet.

I am a big fan of cardholder wallets instead of the classic ones - I already bought a lot of these, but this specific one accomplished all my needs in just 1 wallet, and it is amazing!

I got this wallet as a replacement for my cloth wallet, which had seen better days. I figured this one, being made out of aluminum, this would last longer. I could see myself fidgeting endlessly with the card ejection mechanic. It is quite fun to pop your cards in and out of the wallet itself.

The flexible bands that hold your cards in place on the expandable back-plate are quite strong and do a great job at keeping your cards in place while you are out and about. However, the sides of the wallet are made of plastic. I was hoping based on the description that the whole wallet would be aluminum (it doesn't say "plastic" as the material...). Still, it seems relatively sturdy and for the price competes with some higher end products. The slide mechanism does seem a bit fragile, but I haven't had/used it for long enough to really put it through its paces. You absolutely can fit 20 cards in here, but I would not recommend it. The backplate gets too tight.

Another odd thing I found...in the included instructions it says you can fit 4-6 cards in the pop-up section. On the Amazon description it says 5-7. I found that 6 is really the maximum. Anything beyond that and it's hard to pick out the right card. I also don't know why they didn't just say "up to 6 cards" instead of giving a range, but I digress. Finally, I thought that the money clip would be separate/detachable based on the description, since it says it comes in the box, but its attached and there's no clear way to take it off. I won't be using it...maybe I will put an airtag in there instead of money.

This does weigh less than my traditional textile wallet. I weighed it side-by-side - this wallet with all my cards in it weighed 152 grams. My other wallet, on the other hand, weighed 190 grams. I was surprised by this - I think the density of this wallet just caught me off guard.

Anyway - overall this is a fun wallet that's cheap to replace if lost. I would recommend it if you're looking for an affordable "modern" wallet. At $25 it is a strong contender in the pop-up wallet market. Others may be of a bit higher quality, but probably have a higher price tag too.

I really like this cardholder wallet��it��s slim, stylish, and works great for keeping things simple. The slide button is super handy for quickly pulling out your cards, and the expandable backplate keeps everything snug and secure. The money clip is a nice touch, though I was a bit surprised it��s not detachable like the description said. It��s lightweight and feels solid, but the plastic sides and sharp edges make it a little uncomfortable to carry around all day. There is a little weight to this wallet but it is a viable option to hold my cards and money at least as well as my current wallet. The one thing I don't really like about this is that the paper money is held in place outside the wallet with a clip and I find that the cash gets wrinkled and sometimes torn, though I find that I hardly use cash these days. The big issue is that there are too many loyalty cards. This can hold them at least as well as my current wallet though I do maintain a separate compact wallet for loyalty cards and library cards and gift cards and save my main wallet for those cards that I use regularly like credit cards, debit cards, drivers license, health card, etc. as well as the top three loyalty cards that I use often.

These days, when most cards can be held digitally I don't think many of us carry a large number of cards. But if you are one of the few that do, this may be a good choice for you. It can hold a massive 16 cards. The ones you use the most you place so they come out where you can easily get to them using the card release mechanism. The rest you push up and kind of fan from the other side.

There is also a clip for notes. If like me you are now down to the bare minimum of cards, I think I have 5 at the most, there are better option for this type of wallet. But this is good if you have a lot of credit or loyalty cards.

The Slimwalt Wallet for Men is just what I was looking for.
It is for me my first front pocket wallet.
It is made from metal and has a very good system to store n'y cards and my bills.
I have 9 cards and 2 IDs. All fit nicely whether using the elastic side or the pop up.
The mechanism to retrieve the cards is very simple and works all the time.
This Wallet is solid and I trust it will last a long time.
It is RFID and fits almost everywhere.
This is a neat Wallet and I like it.

This is going to sound more critical than it really is so I want to start by saying this isn't about quality but more so my personal preference. I think there are people out here who would really enjoy receiving this as a gift because their preferences are different than mine.

First off, as a minimalist wallet... 10-20 cards?! This wallet is minimalist in design; not in execution. For me personally I carry minimal cards. I should reduce my wallet to about 6 cards, 2 ID, 2 debit, 2 credit but I carry closer to 10 once you add back in the costco membership, work cards etc.

If you're able to get your wallet down to 6 cards and put them all in the main compartment this wallet... matches the thickness of my leather bifold wallet. If you decide to carry more in the external compartment it's thicker than a standard bifold wallet.

speaking of the external compartment for additional cards, the elastic material is run inside the compartment causing cards to snag unless you make an effort to avoid it. I'm sure with more use the would become less of an issue and in the defense of the wallet these are going to be the cards used less often. In order to keep that slim profile when not in use the panel is recessed into the wallet which is great to reducing the profile but does mean that one credit card often gets stuck right against the body of the wallet when you attempt to fan them out. Again, this will probably get better with time and things loosen off a little bit.

Regarding the money clip, I'm not a fan in general. It's large, doesn't feel great in the pocket, and is more likely for bills to get snagged coming in and out of my pocket. Also as a Canadian, the money clip isn't designed for our monopoly money which is wider than the wallet.

Regarding the material, it did damage my cards. It's nothing serious, it just took off some "paint" from my cards when rubbing against metal. I'm sure the flakes that came off were probably from general use but scraped off when going in and out of the external and main compartment. Will it ruins the cards? probably not but it's certainly not as gentle as a standard leather wallet.

Positives, solid material. I like that the main compartment spring mechanism is stepped so that when you operate the lever at the bottom the cards are evenly fanned right from the get go. Even when using the external compartment I couldn't pick up my credit cards using my phone NFC scanner app where I can read my cards through my leather wallet. The aesthetics are good as well which is why I chose to review this item.

Overall, I would recommend this to someone who is looking for this aesthetic. It's as thick if not thicker than a standard bifold leather wallet so its not saving space. In the pocket it is more noticeable due to the rigid nature.
If a standard 5-10 minimalist wallet just isn't enough space I think this would be a reasonable compromise. I do think that the build quality is there and that you won't have any issues with it if you chose to use this for years on end.

This minimalist wallet boasts an attractive design and a sturdy build but can only fit 6 cards. If you put any more, the switch to pop them up very hard to press. The money clip exerts decent pressure and holds paper money fairly securely although a single note can still feel a touch loose. Unfortunately, unlike on some other models, the slip cannot be easily removed if you don't use it.

Overall, this is solidly-built minimalist wallet but it's not the best model I've tried. That said, for around $28, it is a decent value considering the build quality if you don't mind its limitations

This is a replacement for my old leather wallet. I am now hooked on how easy to use this pop-up card holder is and how useful.
