Just ok.

It wants to call itself a minimalist wallet but it misses on the biggest point, being too big.

SLIMWALT Wallet with Money Clip - Fun, Lightweight, and Usable, but a bit misleading.

I got this wallet as a replacement... Overall this is a fun wallet that's cheap to replace if lost. I would recommend it...

Slim wallet replacement

Wanted to get rid of my thicker traditional wallet... Only gripe is that... it would be helpful if there was a bit more separation of the cards...

Slim Wallet for Men

This very slim wallet is excellent for traveling. It fits in the front pocket easily without bulging out. It has two areas to hold credit cards and a button to push a card when needed. The wallet also has two soft black pouches to carry cash or coins. It has an expandable side to comfortably hold up to 15 cards. The casing is metal or aluminum. I would think most trendy men would like this sleek and slick wallet.

Hands down the best minimalist wallet out there!

I've tried countless minimalist wallets, but the Slimwalt is the only one that's truly lived up to my expectations. It's the perfect blend of functionality, style, and convenience.

The ejection feature is incredibly smooth and easy to use. With a simple push of the button, my cards fan out for quick and easy access. No more fumbling through a bulky wallet or struggling to extract the right card.

Despite its slim profile, the Slimwalt holds all my essential cards (and then some!). I was surprised by how much it could hold while still remaining compact and comfortable in my pocket.

The added bonus of the elastic pocket is a game-changer. It's perfect for holding a few bills, receipts, or even small items like a coat check ticket or key.

Here's why I love it:

Effortless card access: The ejection mechanism is smooth and efficient.
Slim and minimalist design: It's incredibly compact and comfortable to carry.
Surprisingly spacious: Holds all my essential cards with room to spare.
Versatile elastic pocket: Adds extra functionality for carrying cash or other small items.
Durable construction: It feels sturdy and well-made, and shows no signs of wear after a month of use.
I'm so impressed with this wallet that I'm actually planning to buy a spare, just in case! If you're looking for a minimalist wallet that doesn't compromise on functionality or style, the Slimwalt is the perfect choice.

Easier for my elderly dad to use!

My dad is 80 and still on the go! His antiquated old leather wallet was about 4?thick since he had to have every plastic card ever given to him “just in case? When we ordered a slim wallet for a friend as a Christmas gift, he was impressed and FINALLY let me order this one for him. This slim wallet has an elastic (kinda a soft neoprene) side that fits even more cards and some cash and dad selected his top 4-5 cards to put into the nifty pop up section. All in all the capacity is perfect and he probably has 9+ plastic cards, about 5 currency bills, and about 6 business cards and it’s still very thin—especially compared to the brick he used to carry. The pop up works particularly well and is easier for him to get his credit cards out than his old wallet. His hand strength isn’t great and the pop up has been an unexpected boon. It’s also easier for him to fish out of his pockets when he’s using his mobility scooter. The design is good and the elastic side is very secure. At around $20 at time of review, this is a great price for a convenient and seemingly quality wallet solution. Good for gifting too!

Slimwalt Aluminum wallet looks and works as advertised, but doesn't work for me

I got this wallet hoping to replace my existing slim wallet that has started showing its age. I will continue using my old wallet for now because this new wallet makes me nervous.

I am giving 5 stars because it is made well with good materials and it looks just like the pictures. Everything is as advertised.

I was able to transfer all the "stuff" from my folding slim wallet to the new wallet. There is more room for additional cards. But, the exposed cash clip and not having space for notes/papers bothered me. Also, traditional slim wallet having separate slots for frequently used cards seemed very convenient. Somehow I felt "exposed" when using the new wallet for either cards or cash. I am sad to say that this new wallet doesn't work for me.

Decent budget slim wallet

Due to the pop-up mechanism, it's rather long compared to my Znap wallet (see comparison photo), but it'll fit in any pocket fine. With 12 cards, the thickness is about the same in each wallet, though the Slimwalt could be slimmer with fewer cards.

I like the elastic pocket, but it's a bit clunky to use for cash; I do prefer it over a clip or strap, at least. But I prefer the classic flap pocket on my Znap over them all.

The pop-up mechanism is plastic, so I don't trust the durability. One bad fall potentially could bust it. Besides, I find the Znap's manual "thumb-up" easier to use.

All in all, a decent introductory slim wallet at a fair price.

Pop Up Wallet With Innovative Design

There are a lot of these pop-up wallets on the market. They are pretty cool in the way they pop up your cards and space them out so you can easily grab the one you want. They have 2 shortcomings though - low capacity and poor cash handling. To handle additional cards and cash the typical solution is a simple elastic band around the wallet sometimes with an additional plate for cards. This is a cheap and cheap looking option. The band is not built in to the wallet and slides around a lot. Very clunky at best.

This wallet has a really innovative approach for additional cards - take the plate and build it into the front of the wallet. Works very well. Pretty amazing that this no-name company has come up with a better solution than so many pricier brands. Maybe because the latter spend so much money on marketing they don't have any left over for engineering. Whatever, I really like the front plate. You can fit several cards in it but works best IMO with one or two. With one it's a nice quick access slot for your most used card.

Even so I hesitated to give 5 stars. Why? Well the plate allows for extra cards but doesn't work well for cash - it probably could work if they just added another small finger cut out at the top instead of just at the bottom. The cash solution is a pouch adhered to the back of the wallet. It feels flimsy and cheap but does work well enough. You can also add cards in the pouch. Given the thought and effort that went into the front plate, I'd have thought they could have come up with a better cash solution.

Another concern is that the pop up doesn't space the cards out as nicely as others. Other brands implement this part better albeit at a much higher price point. In the end I did go 5 stars because of that lower price point.

The Wallet is almost Perfect; Overall I do love it

This review is for the Slimwalt Wallet for Men with Smart Card Slot and Pop Up Card Holder, RFID Blocking Minimalist Mens Wallet with Money and Coin Pocket, Durable Expandable Backplate Metal Wallet.
Okay, so the timing was good for me with this wallet. In my city, I've been reading reports about complaints regarding scammers around our big box stores stealing people's data from their credit and/or debit cards. The next thing that was recommended was to get an RFID blocking type wallet.
So, I stumbled across this Slimwalt Wallet for men and while I wasn't really familiar with Minimalist type wallets, this was offered to me so I thought I'd give it a try.
I really do have to say I'm quite impressed by the design. I did learn a few things. I strongly recommend keeping your most important plastic cards, such as credit/debit cards, smack dab in the middle of the wallet where they really do appear to be locked in. Again, with the cards stacked in the middle part of the wallet, there is a little lever on the bottom you need to slide for the cards to pop up. What I was impressed with is even after shaking vigorously, my debit/credit cards didn't budge. Impressive!
Oh, and I was easily able to fit 5 embossed credit/debit cards into this middle compartment; I think it could even take a couple more but I didn't want to over do it.
Then just slide the little lever on the bottom and they will pop up as shown in photo.
For the soft back pocket, I found I could add some more plastic cards, and this is where I might store say, a library card or grocery market "club card" or perhaps a couple of bills. I do feel these items will be secure but in your pocket, just be sure the wallet is facing right side up.
Now, on to the expandable backplate, and here, is where I took off a star. I just found I could get two plastic cards in this side. Its very tight and secure, and there is a neat little area on the bottom to push the cards up with your thumb. Still, if there is a weakness to the wallet, I feel its this expandable backplate. I just felt its a bit awkward to work with and its hard to fit much into the plate. I would have loved if they could have added another compartment just like the middle with its own lever.
Still, overall, I think I'm going to love this wallet. I have a total of 9 cards including "less important" cards like library and grocery cards, and this wallet will easily hold all of them.

SLIMWALT Wallet with Money Clip - Fun, Lightweight, and Usable, but a bit misleading.

I got this wallet as a replacement for my cloth wallet, which had seen better days. I figured this one, being made out of aluminum, this would last longer. I could see myself fidgeting endlessly with the card ejection mechanic. It is quite fun to pop your cards in and out of the wallet itself.

The flexible bands that hold your cards in place on the expandable back-plate are quite strong and do a great job at keeping your cards in place while you are out and about. However, the sides of the wallet are made of plastic. I was hoping based on the description that the whole wallet would be aluminum (it doesn't say "plastic" as the material...). Still, it seems relatively sturdy and for the price competes with some higher end products. The slide mechanism does seem a bit fragile, but I haven't had/used it for long enough to really put it through its paces. You absolutely can fit 20 cards in here, but I would not recommend it. The backplate gets too tight.

Another odd thing I found...in the included instructions it says you can fit 4-6 cards in the pop-up section. On the Amazon description it says 5-7. I found that 6 is really the maximum. Anything beyond that and it's hard to pick out the right card. I also don't know why they didn't just say "up to 6 cards" instead of giving a range, but I digress. Finally, I thought that the money clip would be separate/detachable based on the description, since it says it comes in the box, but its attached and there's no clear way to take it off. I won't be using it...maybe I will put an airtag in there instead of money.

This does weigh less than my traditional textile wallet. I weighed it side-by-side - this wallet with all my cards in it weighed 152 grams. My other wallet, on the other hand, weighed 190 grams. I was surprised by this - I think the density of this wallet just caught me off guard.

Anyway - overall this is a fun wallet that's cheap to replace if lost. I would recommend it if you're looking for an affordable "modern" wallet. At $25 it is a strong contender in the pop-up wallet market. Others may be of a bit higher quality, but probably have a higher price tag too.
