I have a similar one of these wallets that fans out rather than pops up. I wanted to try this as it would be more convenient when I go to work. I could put the access card in the back and it would be easier to get into the office.These wallets are well constructed out of metal. However, there doesn't seem to be a way to secure the cards in the wallet like there is and the one that fans out. Those you actually have to nudge into a groove and that location? Did you confidence that the cards will stay in the wallet. Here you just pop them in and the pressure appears like it will keep them in. But if you shake it just a little bit they start to wiggle out. It also seems to hold one less card than the other style.The money clip is also not fastened directly to the main wallet. It's attached with a couple of elastic type bands that can create a gap to potentially add some more bills. While this could be nice to actually hold a little more currency It's also impossible that those bands could break and you could lose everything.My big concerns with this wallet are about security of the cards and the cash. It doesn't seem to be designed to give you confidence that things will be there.I may use this when I'm going to the office, but other than that I'd rather use the other one as I feel more secure.

After the front pocket wallet company I got my wallet from stopped making the "lifetime replacement" elastic/velcro strap and instead wanted you to return the wallet for a discount on their "upgraded" version I have been trying to find a wallet that is perfect for my needs. This wallet looked promising. The wallet looks amazing. The wallet is slim and comfortable. The wallet can hold, depending on size, four to six cards in the quick release slot and supposed to be able to hold fifteen more cards as well as cash on the back side. The extra card holder and money clip is connected to the wallet with an elastic strap. I'm worried that strap will start to stretch and won't hold my cards and if it breaks could cause you to lose your cards and cash. However, I'm going to stay optimistic here and see how long this one lasts. If you are a person that only carries three or four cards and a little cash then this is absolutely an ideal wallet for you. It's easy to get to those cards in the slot and see which one you need. And again this wallet looks amazing. The price is about average for a slim front pocket wallet of good quality and as of now I think it's worth the price. If after some use I have any negative feedback ill update this review.

Flicking the bottom slider fans your cards in an easy, staggered layout that lets you identify and grab what you need at the register with one hand. Unembossed cards sit securely inside the internal chamber without rattling loose or slipping out when tipped upside down.The compromises, however, center around the physical money clip and tight internal capacity. The integrated metal clip holds bills with an aggressive, stiff bite, making it tedious to slide cash underneath without curling or tearing folded edges. Pulling out one bill usually means wrestling the entire stack loose. Furthermore, while the chamber handles four or five completely smooth cards fine, adding just two cards with raised embossed lettering makes the slide action stiff and prone to catching. If you carry thick metal rewards cards, the ejector lever requires noticeable force and occasionally fails to push all cards to their full height.If your everyday carry is strictly stripped-down—four flat plastic cards, an ID, and virtually no cash—the ultra-thin footprint and sturdy aluminum shell will get the job done. But for anyone who still relies on paper bills or carries a mix of thicker embossed cards, the tight tolerances and awkward clip design keep it from being a seamless everyday experience.
